- Shirakawa-go, a fairy-tale UNESCO World Heritage village
- Takayama and the Japanese Alps
- A genuine Japanese onsen experience
- Carefully selected accommodations
- A well-paced mix of sightseeing and cultural discovery
Japan has always been the stuff travelers' daydreams are made of. Very few tours today manage to strike the right balance between modernity, tradition, nature, and genuine cultural immersion.
This trip was built to give travelers a complete, elegant window into Japan during two of its most beautiful seasons. Depart on November 19, 2026 for momiji season, when maple leaves turn the landscape ablaze in red — or on March 21, 2027 for sakura season, when Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, and the Japanese Alps turn into a vast landscape of pink and white blossoms.
Most classic tours stop at Tokyo and Kyoto. This one goes further, and also takes you to Shirakawa-go, a fairy-tale UNESCO World Heritage village, through Takayama and the Japanese Alps, with a genuine Japanese onsen experience, carefully chosen accommodations, and a well-paced mix of sightseeing and cultural discovery.
This trip was designed as a real emotional and cultural experience — something well beyond a checklist of sights.
Momiji season is considered one of Japan's most spectacular natural displays; sakura season is one of its most iconic and poetic. Either way, the landscapes turn colors so striking that many travelers consider it a once-in-a-lifetime sight.
Japan is now regarded as one of Asia's priciest destinations. And yet, departing from Canada, this trip starts at only CA$4,999 per person, and includes round-trip international flights, carefully selected 3★ and 4★ hotels, ground transportation throughout Japan, guide service, numerous meals, and entrance fees to the major sites — a remarkably competitive rate very few tours on the Canadian market currently match.
This trip is an ideal fit for Japan lovers, anyone passionate about Asian culture, travelers who want both authenticity and refinement, photography and landscape enthusiasts, and anyone who dreams of a Japan that feels poetic and timeless.
