PAYMENT

A deposit of 40% of the trip cost is required upon booking, and the remaining 60% is due three months prior to departure. Payment will be deposited in a trust account governed by the Consumer Protection Act of Quebec. Quebec permit #703480.

SPECIAL NOTES

• A copy of your passport is required upon booking, and must be valid for at least 6 months after the return date of travel and have at least two consecutive blank pages. If you need to renew your passport, provide a copy of the new passport at least 3 months prior to departure.
• On this day, there is no mandatory vaccination for the destinations you are visiting. However, the Canadian government website does make recommendations in this regard, and it is therefore recommended that you consult a health care professional for vaccination or visit a travel health clinic 6 to 8 weeks before you travel.
• Please kindly prepare a valid travel document, such as a Visa, for your destination.
• In case of force majeure, including but not limited to: war, strike, riot, crime, or any event described by the legal term of force majeure (hurricane, flood, earthquake, volcanic eruption, etc.), Voyages Polaris reserves the right to modify the itinerary and/or visit(s) at its discretion, and additional costs arising there from may be charged to pertinent travellers.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

In the event of cancellation initiated by Voyages Polaris, all amounts paid will be refunded in full.
In the event of cancellation by a traveller, the following conditions shall apply:
• From the date of reservation up to 91 days prior to the departure, administration fees of 40% of the total amount per person will be charged.
• 90 days or less prior to the departure: paid amounts are not refundable, nor transferrable.
The day of departure is not included in the cancellation period. The travel insurance premium is not refundable.

Please note: If the customer does not pay or cannot pay the balance in full three months before departure, it will be deemed that the customer has voluntarily given up the trip and the fees already paid cannot be refunded.
